DHOA Bylaws, Covenants & Other Info

On behalf of the Dominion Home Owners Association Board and homeowners, we welcome you to Dominion. Dominion is a neighborhood of 84 homes in Madisonville, Louisiana. The Dominion Homeowners Association is a non-profit that handles collecting dues, maintaining the common areas of our subdivision and enforcing our covenants.

The original covenants and restrictions have been filed for public record search on all properties in Dominion. A copy should have been provided by the previous owner or your real estate agent. It is also part of your sale packet when you purchased your home. We also have a copy of this document located on our website at www.domHOA.com or in the files section of our Dominion Facebook page. The most common things to remember: (1) Before starting construction, make sure to submit plans for approval to HOA; (2) Boats/RV’s, etc need to be stored behind an approved DHOA fence; (3) If replacing a mailbox, please order from Magnificent Mailbox to keep them all looking the same. Our neighborhood pool and playground is open to all homeowners current on homeowners dues and in good standing with covenants & restriction. You can request one pool key for access by emailing DominionSubdivision@gmail.com if in good standing.

Magnificent Mailboxes & Signs – To ensure all mailboxes match and in compliance with DHOA covenants, we use Magnificent Mailboxes for our mailboxes and street signs. For a replacement or repair of your mailbox, contact them at (985) 641-3145. 

We hold a minimum of one homeowner meeting for the purpose of elections and may schedule more during the year depending on things that require a more open dialogue from homeowners on a particular topic. Typically, the meetings are held at the 1st quarter of each year.

Gas service is provided by the town of Madisonville. They can be reached at (985) 845-7311.
